- I am a 36-year-old stay-at-home mom to 4 wonderful children. Thomas will be 10 in December, Kaleigh will be turning 8 in October, Garrett (who has Down syndrome) will be 5 in November and Braeden just turned one. I decided to name my blog "Does Not Work" because, at a doctor's appointment about a year ago, the secretary filling out my paperwork asked me where I worked. I told her that I was a stay-at-home mom to 4. She wrote in big letters across the top of the form "DOES NOT WORK"...then, to make it even worse, she took out a big yellow highlighter and highlighted it! Bill got a chuckle out of it. I wonder if she'd like to come over and spend the day with me sometime?
