Update...

Wow; time flies!

I can't believe that it's 2008...and we're already half-way through January! Yesterday was Braeden's 18 month b-day. I was hoping that by now he'd be sleeping through the night and last night he woke up at leat 9 times. I really could use some sleep! Or how about, more than 2 hours?

Thomas is doing really well. He's been on a new med (Vyvanse) which has really helped him calm down in school. He does seem to make him a little more irritable at times, though. He was also accepted into two new programs at school for math and reading. He's also playing basketball and just signed up for another year of little league.

Kaleigh is cruising right along, too. She wasn't invited to a special mastery test preparation class, so that means she's doing quite well in school. We had to explain to her that it was good that she wasn't invited (and a lot of her friends were). She's still dancing and is in the Church choir. She also recently had 8" cut off of her hair and donated that to Pantene's Beautiful Lengths and she got her ears pierced!

Garrett is having a blast in school and is very popular with the girls (who fight over who gets to sit with him). He's doing well with his speech, too. If only we could get him to stop saying "shut up" so clearly. He loves playing with Braeden, watching "Spongebob" and still enjoys watching the Wiggles once in a while (although not as much as he used to, he's growing up!). He recently had a dentist appointment, and she said that his two bottom teeth are beginning to get loose! He's going to be so cute when he loses his little teeth!

Braeden is talking up a storm lately. I can't even count the words he says. I think "poop" and "pee pee" are his favorites, though. And no. He is still not sleeping through the night, which is driving me insane and sucking the life out of me. He did have a pretty bad ear infection about two weeks ago, and once he was treated for that, he slept pretty well for two or three nights. I'm tired of being tired! He's also still nursing to fall asleep for naps (if I'm here) and at bedtime. And he's still waking up to nurse once or twice a night. I'd love to cut that out a.s.a.p., just don't know how to!

I started Weight Watchers for the gazillionth time, but this time I really mean it. I've been going to the gym, but can only ride the bike, since my ankle (which I sprained last Feb.) has been really bad. I have an appt. with an ortho doc on 1/21 to see what's going on with it. I can't even walk anymore, so I'm hoping for a quick and easy fix (which I doubt).

What else...Bill started doing the papers again in the morning. It was too hard squeaking by without that money. Only for a few months, though. Just to pay off some bills. He has more traveling this year than last....and I think it's only going to get worse. He just spent a few days in PA, and Orlando is in a week for a week. When he's not around, Garrett really, really, REALLY is dfficult to handle. He gets destructive and just acts out constantly; like a different little boy. He did a lot of damage last time....broke a picture frame, the blinds, tore down the curtains....

Well...off to get everyone ready for Thomas' game. And I need a GIANT cup of coffee (no points in that).

I'll post a few pics, too.
